I am a Guitar Teacher based in Hebburn, South Tyneside - I teach acoustic and electric guitar in a wide range of styles. I've been playing guitar for over 35 years and I have worked in a variety of gigging bands including rock, pop, blues, jazz, swing and soul styles -performing in pubs, clubs and at weddings and large corporate and social events.
During the past 25 years I have taught a large number of private students at my home studio as well as guitar classes and workshops in several schools and colleges across the North East.
In addition to my formal qualifications as a Guitar Teacher (BA Hons Music, PGCE) - I am a member of the 'Registry of Guitar Tutors' and I have also studied at The Guitar Institute (London) and at Jazz Guitar Workshops (Wrexham) with some internationally recognised guitarists including; Howard Alden, James Birkett, Jimmy Bruno, John Etheridge, Dan Huff, Mundell Lowe and Trefor Owen.

Lessons are taught on a one-to-one basis. Lessons are planned to suit your personal aims and ambitions. The main emphasis being your development as a guitarist through structured study of technique and theory, linked to the most important element...playing music!
